Wilson, died of diseases incident to old age, at that gentleman's home, 1500 Eleventh street, at 9 o'clock this morning. The deceased was born in Cedar Springs, Clinton county, September 17, 1811. His wife, who was Miss Nancy White, has been dead twenty-four years. The old gentleman came to this city seven years ago, and had made his home with Mr. Wilson ever since. He was a consistent member of the First Presbyterian church. The following children survive: Hugh W., of Shiloh, Ill.; J. E. of Rushville, Neg.; Mrs. C. T. Wilson of this city; Mrs. Rev. John B. Pomeroy of Bellville, Ill.; and Miss Agnes Brown of this city. The remains will be taken to Cedar Spring for interment. Altoona Mirror, September 12, 1896
