Our Fredericksburg correspondent writes: Christian Brumbaugh, whose illness has been mentioned several times in these columns, breathed his last on Sunday morning. He was born March 19, 1818, and had reached the age of 73 years and 17 days. He had been ailing all winter, but having improved, went out some ten days ago, when his disease returned with fatal result. Mr. Brumbaugh was a farmer by occupation, a good neighbor and a kind friend, always willing to lend a helping had wherever needed. He was a consistent Christian, highly esteemed by all who knew him. He leaves a wife, a son, George H., who resides on the farm, and his two daughters - Mrs. Elizabeth Baker and Mrs. Mary Wineland, who live near Martinsburg. The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock this morning. Services in the Dunkard church, of which he was a member. Interment in the family burying ground on the farm.
