Dorsey N. Brumbaugh

  Dorsey N. Brumbaugh, 76, of Duquesne died Monday morning, October 24, 
1955, in the McKeesport Hospital, where he had been a patient for only 
four hours.
  A son of the late Levi and Sarah (Nepper) Brumbaugh of Cherrytown, he 
was born March 8, 1879, in Blair County.
  A graduate of Juniata College; he formerly taught school in Hopewell 
Township. He was a retired assistant superintendent of the shipping 
department of the Duquesne Works of the U. S. Steel Corporation, and 
had resided in Duquesne for the past 55 years.
  Brumbaugh was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance 
Church in Duquesne.
  His wife, Mrs. Alda Treece Brumbaugh, and these children survive: 
Mrs. Elva Webb of Elizabeth, Joseph Brumbaugh of West Mifflin, Glen 
Brumbaugh of Quincy, Illinois, and Victor Brumbaugh, at home. Three 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
  Funeral services w®re held Wednesday afternoon in the Teichart 
funeral home in Duquesne.  His pastor, the Rev. Fred Haberland, had 
charge of the services and interment was made in the Mount Vernon 
Cemetery at Duquesne.
