Brumbaugh, of Clover Creek, Thursday morning, at the home of Levi Rhodes, near Roaring Spring, aged 78 years, 1 month and 6 days. She was the daughter of George and Mary Nicodemus and was married March 26, 1849. To this union were born twelve children, six boys and six girls, eight of whom survive: Mrs. J. K. Gates, of Martinsburg; Mrs. J. E. Hagey, of Henrietta; Mrs. L. S. Rhodes, of Roaring Spring; Mrs. H. L. Boone, of Duncansville; L. N., of Cove station, Huntingdon county; George D., of Shy Beaver, Huntingdon county; S. N., of 2511 Eighth avenue, this city, and F. N., of Scranton. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Henry Dilling, of Kansas; Mrs. Catharine Byers, of Illinois, and Mrs. Margaret Brumbaugh, widow of Elder J. W. Brumbaugh; C. S. Nicodemus, of 1221 Sixth avenue, this city, and S. S. Nicodemus, of Martinsburg. Also by twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brumbaugh became a member of the German Baptist church, of Clover Creek, fifty-six years ago. Funeral services will be held in the German Baptist church, at Clover Creek, tomorrow morning, leaving the house at 9 o'clock. Interment in the Brumbaugh cemetery. Altoona Times, May 30, 1908, Page 10
