Isaac Holsinger Brumbaugh, who some years ago conducted a general store at Third avenue and Second street, died suddenly Thursday at his home in Homestead, of Chronic Bright's disease. Mr. Brumbaugh was born at Clover Creek 47 years ago and was educated in the public schools, at selected normal at New Enterprise and at Juniata College, Huntingdon. He taught school for a number of years, several terms being in Logan township, this county. He kept store here for a time, and later went to Homestead, engaging in insurance business, being the assistant superintendent of the Prudential for many years. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Pote, of Baker's Summit; a son in New York and a daughter, Mrs. Samuel B. Hoff, of Homestead. He also leaves two brothers, Henry H., superintendent of schools at Riddlesburg and Joseph. He was a member of the Greenfield avenue Church of the Brethren, at Pittsburgh. The body was taken to his former home at Baker's Summit, Bedford county, where services were conducted yesterday morning, followed by interment in the Holsinger cemetery.
