Mr. Brumbaugh was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brumbaugh, former residents of Blair county and his mother was a sister of the late John H. Stiffler of Hollidaysburg and Joseph Stiffler of Canoe Creek. Mr. Brumbaugh is survived by one son, Justin Brumbaugh, and several brothers. Mr. Brumbaugh was one of the leading citizens of Hartville, being a large real estate owner and banker. Mr. Brumbaugh was deeply interested in the welfare at Juniata college in Huntingdon and during the recent campaign of the college for a large endowment, Mr. Brumbaugh set apart a large part of his wealth as an endowment for the college.
