Brumbaugh Will Be Interred Tuesday, June 15, At 2 O'clock Levi Nicodemus Brumbaugh, of Cherrytown, a highly esteemed citizen of Hopewell township, passed away at his late home on Saturday afternoon, June 12, at 4:30 o'clock. Death was due to a complication of diseases. At the time of death he was aged 79 years and 18 days. Mr. Brumbaugh was a son of Rev. George W. Brumbaugh and Elizabeth (Nicodemus) Brumbaugh, deceased, and was born at Fredericksburg, May 24, 1848. He was united in marriage to Sarah Nepper on May 26, 1878. Mr. Brumbaugh operated the Cove station mill in his earlier days, and left the milling business to become associated with the Beyer Lumber Company of Tyrone in the lumber business. For the past ten years he has been living retired. Mr. Brumbaugh was a consistent member of the Church of the Brethren of Fredericksburg. All his life was spent in the vicinity of Fredericksburg and Cherrytown, where he was well known. He took a keen interest in the affairs of his community, and his judgment on matters of business was frequently sought and accepted by his neighbors. He is survived by his wife; one son, Dorsey N. Brumbaugh, of Duquesne; one brother, Frank N. Brumbaugh, of Camp Hill; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hagey, of Henrietta; Mrs. Harriet Gates, of Fredericksburg; and Mrs. Margaret Boone, of Duncansville. Funeral services will be held from the late home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of his pastor. Interment in the Fredericksburg cemetery. Huff's funeral service.
