Died in Pittsburgh on Thursday Evening Miss Maud Brumbaugh died at the Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh on Thursday evening, at 8.55 o'clock of anemia. The body was brought to Tyrone today at noon and taken to the home of Mrs. Harry Hunter, 2254 Columbia avenue. Miss Brumbaugh went to Pittsburgh three weeks ago to visit her sister. She became ill two weeks ago Thursday and continued growing worse until the end came Thursday night. Miss Brumbaugh was a daughter of Joseph (deceased) and Mrs. Barbara Brumbaugh. She was born May 26, 1890, at Barree. Most of her life was spent in this vicinity. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Surviving to mourn her death is her mother and the following brothers and sisters: Henry, of Tyrone; Woods, of Altoona; Daisy, Mrs. Laura Billing, and Mrs. Adam Michaels, of Tyrone. Funeral services were held at the Hunter home on Saturday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. W. Bieber. Interment in Grand View cemetery.
