HUMMEL RESIDENT, AGED EXPIRES
  
  Mrs. Sarah Brumbaugh of Hummel aged 90, widow of Levi Brumbaugh, 
passed away at her home on Friday morning, October 15, 1948. She was 
born on December 25, 1857, in Clappertown, a. daughter of Charles and 
Hannah (Carlisle) Nepper. She married Levi N. Brumbaugh on May 25, 
1876, in Clover Creek. He died on December 12, 1937. One son, Dorsey N. 
Brumbaugh of Hummel, and four grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren survive. There is also one brother and two sisters: 
Charles E. Nepper of Carrollton, Ohio; Mrs. Vene Isenberg and Mrs. 
Fannie Mosel, both of Hollidaysburg. Mrs. Brumbaugh was a member of the 
Saxton Brethren Church. The funeral service will be at three o'clock on 
Sunday afternoon in Huff's funeral chapel at Saxon. The Rev. Paul 
Dilling will officiate and burial will be made in the Brethren Cemetery 
at Fredericksburg.  Friends are being received at the funeral chapel.
