MRS. SARAH BRUMBAUGH

Of Martinsburg, died at 7.20 p.m. Saturday in Nason Hospital, Roaring 
Spring, following a brief illness. Mrs. Brumbaugh was born March 16, 
1866, at Martinsburg RD, a daughter of John and Maria (Whittaker) 
Shoenfelt. Her husband, Henry D. Brumbaugh, whom she married in 
October, 1895, died July 4, 1949. Surviving are three children, Misses 
Blanche and Florence, at home, and J. Lee of Martinsburg RD 2; four 
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two brothers and two 
sisters, Charles W. of Philadelphia, Irvin W. of Martinsburg RD 2, Miss 
Margaret of Altoona and Mrs. John Ludgate of Scranton. Mrs. Brumbaugh 
was a member of the Clover Creek Church of the Brethren. Friends are 
being received in the home.
