LEONA R. BUCHANAN

  Mrs. Buchanan, 73, formerly of Box 704, RD 1, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 
22, 1983, in Valley View Home, after a lengthy illness.
  She was born April 16, 1909, in Altoona, the daughter of George W. and 
Louise (Smith) Yingling, and Jan 24, 1925, in Cumberland, Md., married 
Johnson Buchanan.
  Surviving are four children: Raymond of Lakemont, Betty of Pittsburgh and 
Mrs. Doris Hamel and Mrs. Wava Rudy of Altoona; 10 grandchildren and 10 
great-grandchildren.
  Mrs. Buchanan was a member of the Riggles Gap Bible Church.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10 
a.m. Friday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.

BUCHANAN - Services for Leona R. Buchanan, formerly of Box 704, RD 1, will be 
held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, by 
the Rev. Norman Waite.  Interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery.  Friends will be 
received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until time of 
services Friday in the funeral home.
