HARPER S. BUDD

Of 324 W. 17th St., Tyrone, died at 11.10 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 1970, in Tyrone 
Hospital, after a brief illness.  He was born in Tyrone Dec. 4, 1899, a son of 
Harry L. and Hannah (Shannon) Budd.  Surviving are a brother and sister, J. 
Frank and Mrs. Oscar A. Piper of Tyrone, and sever nieces and a nephew.  Mr. 
Budd was a member of the Columbia Avenue United Methodist Church, Tyrone, and of 
the Tyrone Sportsmen's and Allegheny Hunting Clubs.  He retired from the 
Pennsylvania Railroad in 1955.  Friends will be received in the Getz & Searer 
Funeral Home, Tyrone, after 2 p.m. today.
