Eldest daughter of the late Kinnie and Mary Buoy, both formerly well known residents of this city and Hollidaysburg, died of pneumonia on Thursday evening at her home in Baltimore, aged 28 years. The deceased was born in Pittsburg, but spent the greater part of her life in Hollidaysburg and Curwensville, where she was known and esteemed as a young lady of many accomplishments and Christian graces. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Robert W. Smith, of Hollidaysburg, and two brothers, Walter H. Buoy and J. Dean Buoy, both of Baltimore. The deceased is a niece of Mrs. Frank Glessner and Burgess John W. Bracken of Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. George R. Stone of this city. The remains will be brought to Altoona for interment. The funeral services will be held in the Eighth Avenue Methodist church on Sunday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock. Interment in Fairview cemetery. Altoona Mirror, January 12, 1895
