MRS. RUTH M. BURDETTE

  Mrs. Ruth M. Burdette, 45, Chambersburg RD 6, died at 11:01 last 
night at the Chambersburg Hospital, after an illness of seven month's 
duration. 
  She was born Feb. 17, 1917, near Tyrone, the daughter of the late 
John and Carrie Maffitt [Moffitt] Bonsell.  She attended the Brethren 
In Christ Church, Chambersburg, Pa.  
  She is survived by her husband, James H. Burdette; two brothers, 
Albert Bonsell, Tyrone; and Robert Bonsell, Chambersburg; three 
sisters, Mrs. Conrad Cox and Mrs. Paul Miller, both of Tyrone; and Mrs. 
Robert McKelvey, Chambersburg.  
  Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., at the Assembly of 
God Church, Tyrone, with Rev. Glenn I. Ginder of Chambersburg, 
officiating.  Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be 
received Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia ave., Chambersburg, on 
Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
