BURK OF East Freedom died at his home at 2.20 o'clock this morning of pneumonia. Deceased was born in Bedford county on May 20, 1853, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Burk. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Sarah C. Burk, and the following children: Charles of Altoona, Mrs. John Finnegan of Queen, John Burk of Johnstown, Mrs. Charles Dodson, Mrs. H. C. Huston, Howard Burk, all of East Freedom, and George, at home. Two sons, Louis and Joseph Burk, preceded him to the grave. He also leaves thirty-one grandchildren, twenty great- grandchildren, two brothers, William Burk of Duncansville and Michael Burk of Altoona, and two sisters, Mrs. William Lear of Hollidaysburg and Mrs. Jacob Emeigh of Queen.
