At 2.30 o'clock yesterday morning Frank H. Burkert died at the home of his parents, Christ and Antoinette Burkert, 1029 Third avenue, of congestion of the lungs. He had been ailing for a short time, but was not incapacitated from his work as a clerk for W. J. Pennock [?]. He remained at his work until 7 o'clock Thursday evening, and on his arrival home complained of not feeling well and grew rapidly worse until he passed away. Deceased was born at Luthersburg, Clearfield county, __ember 17, 1871. He came to this city ten years ago with his parents and had resided here ever since. He was a member of Christ's Second Lutheran church and of Mountain City lodge 937 Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was a general favorite of all who knew him and was much esteemed by all who shared his acquaintance. Besides his parents he is survived by one brother, Henry, and three sisters Mrs. William Treese, of this city, Amelia and Anna, at home. Funeral services will be conducted at the house at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. J. F. Hartman; interment in Greenwood cemetery. Morning Tribune, Saturday, November 11, 1899 Funeral Notice.
