BURKET A resident of Fredericksburg, died at his home there at 11.30 o'clock Sunday morning. The deceased was born on Dec. 8, 1860, near Henrietta, a son of Isaac and Susan (Brumbaugh) Burket, and was married to Miss Annie Rhodes on Sept. 3, 1885, by Rev. John Replogle of Woodbury. His wife preceded him in death Nov. 6, 1932. He had followed farming most of his life but for some time had been living retired. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dora Brumbaugh and Miss Susie Burket of Martinsburg, R.D., and Mrs. Ella Barnett of Roaring Spring; three grandchildren, Wilford and Ella Brumbaugh of Martinsburg and Lloyd Brumbaugh of Roaring Spring, and four great- grandchildren. Mr. Burket was a member of the Church of the Brethren. BURKET - The funeral of Calvin B. Burket of Fredericksburg will be held from the Clover Creek Church of the Brethren, Fredericksburg, with services Wednesday at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. B. Kensinger, assisted by Rev. A. R. Coffman. Interment in the Brumbaugh cemetery. Friends are being received at the home. Altoona Mirror, August 7, 1939
