Burket died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 8:30 p.m. Monday after a two days illness at his home in Claysburg. He was born May 7, 1880, at Claysburg, a son of Abraham and Katherine M. Burket. He was a huckster and farmer by occupation and his father was engaged in storekeeping. Surviving is his wife, Laura Burket; the following children: Nevin Burket, Claysburg; Mrs. Naomi Ebersole, Mrs. Carrie Mallery and Mrs. Jeannette Claar, all of Altoona; Mrs. Lillian Pengally, Los Angeles; Clyde, Marburg and Rheba Burket, at home. Also surviving are the following brothers and 13 grandchildren: P. W. Burket, C. E. Burket, H. Clark Burket, George R. Burket, all of Claysburg; A. Homer Burket, Sebring, Fla., and Howard Burket, Martinsburg. He was a member of the Reformed church of Claysburg. Funeral services were held at the home at 2:30 p.m. yesterday in charge of Rev. J. S.
