MRS. SAMUEL BURKET

Died at the family home, at Tipton, Sunday morning, after a prolonged 
illness from pulmonary consumption.  She was about 38 years old.  Deceased 
is survived by her husband and a number of children.  The funeral took place 
this afternoon.  Services in the M. E. church; interment in the 
Charlottesville cemetery.

Note: Samuel (27) and Elizabeth (22), with children Nadessah? (2) and Lucy 
(6/12) appear in the Huston Township, Blair County census.  Samuel (47), 
widowed, appears in the 1900 Antis Township, Blair County census with 
children Archie (16), Martha (14), James E. (13), Clifton (9), and 
housekeeper Annie Edmiston (37).  The Charlottesville cemetery transcription 
states that Elizabeth wife of Samuel Burket died 12/27/1897, aged 39y.
