JOHN S. BURKET 

Of 2039 Bellemead Drive, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Altoona 
Hospital at 4:30 p.m. yesterday.  He was born in Altoona Nov. 9, 1904, 
a son of Isaac and Ella (Claar) Burket.  He was a member of the Juniata 
Gospel Chapel and was employed as a clerk for the Pennsylvania 
Railroad.  Surviving are his wife, Ella Mae (Peachman) Burket; one son, 
John of Altoona; his father and step-mother, two sisters, Mrs. Lois 
Ayers and Mrs. Mae Steurt of Hollidaysburg, and one granddaughter.  
Friends may call at the Lafferty Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
