BURKET Of Claysburg, died at 5.30 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 1971, in Hillview Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Altoona Dec. 12, 1878, a daughter of William T. and Emma (Weyandt) Burns, and in 1896 married Edward Burket, who died in 1933. Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Lillian Pengililly of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Naomi Schmitt, Mrs. Carrie Mallory, Clyde and Marburg of Altoona, Nevin of Imler RD and Mrs. Rheda Lingenfelter of Claysburg; 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a brother and sister, Clyde and Mrs. Catharine Ostrander of Altoona. A daughter, Mrs. Jeannette Claar of Queen, died a year ago. Mrs. Burket was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Claysburg.
