Burket, a former principal of the Tyrone and of the Gaysport schools, died at her home in Syracuse, N.Y., on Sunday morning at 2.30 o'clock, death being attributed to a heart condition following a short illness. She was born at Queen, Bedford county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zachariah Weyant. About twelve years ago Professor and Mrs. Burket went to Syracuse where the husband died in January 1930. Surviving are two sons, Earl of Minneapolis, Minn., and Ray, at home, and one sister and two brothers, Mrs. James A. Weyant and Albert Weyant of Queen and Samuel Weyant of Sproul. She was a member of the Reformed church. The body will arrive at the home of her sister at Queen, from where funeral services will be conducted in charge of Rev. Frank W. Montgomery, pastor of the Claysburg Methodist charge. Interment will be made in the Greenfield cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Monday, November 26, 1934
