MARY ANN BURKET Wife of William Burket, died at her home at McKee this morning at 3.40 o'clock, death being attributed to a stroke of paralysis suffered last Tuesday. She was born at Ore Hill on May 3, 1859, and resided there and in Taylor township all her life until ten years ago when the family moved to McKee. She was united in marriage with William Burket of Taylor township in 1873 and to this union ten children were born, six of whom survive, Samuel and Gertrude Myra of McKee, Harvey of Roaring Spring, George of Reservoir and Mrs. Esther Schuttle and Matthew Burket of Toledo, O. Also surviving are the husband, thirty-one grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Shade of Hollidaysburg. For fifty-one years she was a member of the Albright Church of the Brethren in Taylor township, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10.30 o'clock, in charge of the pastor, Rev. Jacob Kinsel. Interment will be made in the Albright cemetery. Altoona Mirror, 28 December 1931
