BURKET, of Imler RD, died at 9:30 p.m. yesterday, May 19, 1972, in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after an extended illness. He was born in Claysburg, July 17, 1899, a son of Edward and Laura (Burns) Burket, and was married to Glenn Langham in Cumberland, Md. Surviving are his wife and four children, Mrs. Vera Briggle and Darl E. of Imler RD, Franklin S. of Claysburg, Mrs. Joanna Wood of New York; 13 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren, six brothers and sisters, Clyde, Marburg, Mrs. Carrie Mallory, Mrs. Naomi Schmitt, all of Altoona; Mrs. Rheda Lingenfelter of Claysburg, Mrs. Lillian Pengilly of Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. Burket retired in 1965 from General Refractory Co., Claysburg, and was supervisor of Kimmel Twp. Friends will be received at the Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg, from noon to 9 p.m. tomorrow and after 10 a.m. Monday. Altoona Mirror, May 20, 1972
