BURKET - FATAL ACCIDENT - On Thursday evening last, as Mr. Stephen 
Burket was driving along with a load of coal, about a mile north of 
Martinsburg, he fell off his horse, striking the ground with his head, 
fracturing the skull, and the wagon passed over his arm, breaking it. 
He was found a few minutes after, but the vital spark had fled.  Mr. 
Burket was a very respectable man and leaves a wife and nine children. 
His death is greatly regretted by the whole community.
