VIOLA S. BURKET

  Miss Burket, 97, a guest at the Homewood Retirement Center, 
Martinsburg, formerly of 613 Walnut St., Roaring Spring, died at 1:50 
a.m. today, July 21, 1988, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.  
  She was born Nov. 21, 1890, in Martinsburg RD, the daughter of 
Charles and Margaret (Shultz) Burket. Surviving are several cousins, 
Mrs. Burket was a member of the Martinsburg Church of God.  
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the 
Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring.
