Mr. Burket was born July 17, 1901, in Centre county, a son of Samuel and Naomi (Helsel) Burket. Surviving are his wife, the former Arminna Tracter, whom he married Dec. 5, 1920, at Hollidaysburg; seven children, Ralph W. of Reservoir, Wilfred R., Mrs. Marian Malone and Mrs. Audrey Clinger of Altoona and Ellen, Lois and Kenneth, at home; seven grandchildren and two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Amanda Smith, Mrs. Pearl McNally and Charles of Hollidaysburg, R.D. Employed at the South Altoona stores department, Mr. Burket had a 33-year service record with the Pennsylvania railroad. He was a member of the Albright Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring, and the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. BURKET - Funeral services for William Franklin Burket of 310 West Plank road will be held at 2.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Albright Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring, in charge of Rev. Emmert Fredrick. Interment in Albright cemetery. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
