WILLIAM E. BURKETT.

  William E. Burkett, a former resident of Altoona, died at his home in 
Pittsburg, at 1.45 o'clock on Sunday afternoon.  He is survived by his 
wife, Nannie (Shaw) Burkett, as well as several distant Altoona 
relatives.  The funeral will be held at his late home this afternoon, 
followed by private interment at Pittsburg.
