BURKEY Of 812 Fourth avenue, died at his home at 5.30 o'clock this morning. He was born in Ebensburg on Dec. 11, 1879, a son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Makin) Burkey, and was a retired car inspector for the P.R.R. Mr. Burkey was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ada (Smith) Burkey, two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Hostetter, Mrs. Dorothy Murphy, James S. and Robert S. Burkey, all of the city. Mr. Burket reposes at the V. L. Stevens funeral home. BURKEY - Funeral services for William A. Burkey, 812 Fourth avenue, will be held in Mount Carmel Catholic church with requiem mass Friday morning at 10 o'clock.
