GERTRUDE L. BURKHOLDER
 
Of 319 Milton Avenue, Llyswen, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
L. J. Horner at 7:15 o'clock last evening after a brief illness.  Mrs. 
Burkholder was born in Antis Township January 20, 1877, a daughter of 
Abraham and Anna E. (Ray) Musselman.  Surviving are her husband, John 
Lester Burkholder, the following children:  Thomas A. of Bellwood; 
George W. and Mrs. L. J. Horner, at home, and Mrs. Gertrude Kelly of 
Albany, New York; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.  
Mrs. Burkholder was employed for the past 20 years as a seamstress and 
fitter at Brett's store.  She was a member of the Garden Heights 
Evangelical United Brethren church, and a member of the Ladies 
Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.  Friends are being 
received at the Laughlin Funeral Home after 7 o'clock this evening.
