P. Funk of 1701 Fifth avenue, East Juniata, at 10.40 o'clock this morning, death resulting from pneumonia, after a week's illness. He was born in Antis township, near East Altoona, on Dec. 15, 1851, the son of John J. and Lydia (deceased) Burkholder. He was married to Miss Savannah Riggle, who preceded him to the grave in 1908. He spent nearly all his life in this vicinity. He was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad as gang foreman at No. 4 freight shop in Juniata. He entered the employ of the Pennsy forty-nine years ago. Surviving are the following sons: Marvin C., of Juniata, Ira W., of Warriorsmark, Clyde of Fostoria, Allan E., J. M., John E., all of East Juniata. He is also survived by two brothers, F. J. of Chicago and Martin W. of East Juniata, and these two sisters: Mrs. J. P. Funk and Mars. Margaret Marks, both of Juniata. Eleven grandchildren also survive. He was a member of the Railroad Relief and the Asbury Methodist church. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon from the Funk home, at 1701 Fifth avenue, at 2.30 o'clock, with Rev. J. K.
