BURLEY Of 404 Fifth avenue died at 9:05 o'clock Saturday evening at the Cresson sanatorium after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona Nov. 6, 1895, a son of Frank and Lydia (Moore) Burley. He was employed as a car inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad and his wife, Letta Vera (Stayer) Burley, died in August 1948. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Everhart, Mrs. Isabelle Young, George E. and Robert E. all of Altoona; seven grandchildren and two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Alice Richards of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Gertrude Kelly of Juniata, and Chester Burley of Detroit, Mich. Mr. Burley was a member of the Fifth Avenue Methodist church and Eagles and Moose. Friends will be received at the Gilden-Barton funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
