Box 129, McHenry, Md., formerly of Altoona, died Saturday afternoon, May 3, 1980, in Garrett County Hospital, Oakland, Md. She was born Nov. 4, 1894, in Altoona, a daughter of William F. and Annie M. (Klink) Reifsteck, and married Samuel Burns, who died Jan. 14, 1970. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alma Wachter, with whom she resided, and a son William M. of Altoona; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Wilhelmia Appleby of Springfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Ruth Hudson of Altoona. She is also survived by a niece, Mrs. Grace N. Reitz, who was reared in the home. Mrs. Burns was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. BURNS - Services for Annie M. Burns of P.O. Box 129, McHenry, Md., formerly of Altoona, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Samuel Wachter. Interment in Alto-Reste Park. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday in the funeral home. SISTER SURVIVES Also surviving Annie M. Burns of PO Box 129, McHenry, Md., formerly of Altoona, who died Saturday, May 3, 1980, in Oakland, Md., is a sister, Mrs. Rosemary Chapman of Arlington, Va.
