DIED.

BURNS. - In this city, on Saturday last, Miss Annie Burns, adopted
daughter of Michael and Matilda Burns, aged 12 years, 5 months.

The deceased died of heart disease and dropsy.  She suffered for two
long years, but bore her sufferings patiently, trusting in God's love
and grace.  The --? Sodality Society of St. John's Church, of which
she was a member, yesterday attended the funeral and solemn high mass
was celebrated at the church by Father Tuigg.
