BYRON I. BURNS

Of 1131 51st St., died at 5:30 p.m. yesterday, July 23, 1972, in Mercy 
Hospital.  He was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Bellwood, a son of Jay H. and Thelma 
(Wertz) Burns, and on June 25, 1955, in St. Paul Lutheran Church was married 
to Marjorie Weigley by the Rev. John Barnes.  Surviving are his wife, his 
parents of Bellwood and three sisters, Mrs. Marilyn Shaffer of Martinsburg, 
Mrs. Carol Miller of Bellwood and Mrs. Jean Berkstresser of Harrisburg.  Mr. 
Burns was a member of Logan Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood; was an employee 
of Puritan Sportswear, Duncansville, as supervisor of processing for 19 years, 
and was a member of the National Association of Data Processing.  Friends will 
be received in the Johnson Funeral Home, Bellwood, after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
