DAVID W. BURNS

Of 615 Crawford Ave., died suddenly at 4 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 24, 1973, in 
Altoona Hospital. He was born Aug. 5, 1917, in Altoona, a son of Harry L. 
and Stella (Miles) Burns, and was married to Elinor McCauley. Surviving are 
his wife, four children, Mrs. Joyce Stom of Camp Hill, David, James and 
Richard at home. Mr. Burns was supervisor of A&P Warehouse, a member of the 
Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, Bavarian Aid Society, Buccinese and a 
veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He will repose at Barton-
Stevens Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening.
