EDWARD MEARL BURNS

Of 1602 11th St., died at 10.05 p.m. yesterday in Valley View Home 
after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona Feb. 1, 1895, a son 
of Mr. and Mrs. William Burns. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; three 
children, a step-daughter, 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren 
and several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received in the 
Hickey Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
