MISS ELLEN S. BURNS

Died at her home, on Eighth street, Bell's extension, at 11:30 
yesterday morning of asthma, with which she had been a sufferer for 
some months. Deceased was the daughter of Isaac (deceased) and Sarah M. 
Burns and was aged 47 years and 10 days. She had resided the greater 
part of her life in this vicinity and is survived by her mother, with 
whom she lived and two brothers and two sisters, George A. and H. E. 
Burns, Mrs. Charles Filer and Mrs. Howard Oster, all of Altoona. The 
funeral will take place at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, services 
to be conducted at the house. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
