GLEN A. BURNS

Aged 69, of 424 Cherry Ave., died at 5.45 p.m. yesterday in the Altoona 
Hospital where he had been a patient since July 9. He was born in 
Altoona, a son of Calvin and Annie (Griffith) Burns, and married 
Elizabeth Recktenwald. Surviving are his wife, one son, George H. of 
the city, and one grandson. He was a member of St. James Lutheran 
Church and the B. of R. T., having retired from the Pennsylvania 
Railroad service as a conductor in the Altoona yard. Friends will be 
received at the Axe Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
