BURNS Of 526 First avenue, a brakeman in the Altoona yard, died at 11.15 o'clock last night at Mercy hospital where he had been a patient since March 14. He was born in East Freedom on March 26, 1886, a son of W. T. and Emma (Weyandt) Burns, but had resided in Altoona from childhood, entering the service of the railroad company as a young man. His wife, Mrs. Stella (Miles) Burns, died thirteen years ago. Surviving are one son, David W. Burns of the city, his mother, at home, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Edwin Burket of Claysburg, Mrs. Mary F. Grau, Mearl, Francis, Charles S. and Clyde M. Burns, all at home, Samuel and Mrs. Catherine Ostrander of the city. Mr. Burns was a member of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church, the B. of R.T., and the Concordia society. Friends are being received at the home. BURNS - Funeral services for Harry L. Burns of 516 First avenue will be held at 2.30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home by Rev. Howard F.
