LEOTTA O. BURNS, of 512 7th Ave., died unexpectedly at 1:30 p.m. yesterday, 
May 19, 1977, at her home. Mrs. Burns was a retired waitress, having worked 
at several restaurants in Altoona. She was born April 14, 1899, in 
Logantown, Lock Haven, a daughter of Robert and Lucinda (Wren) Hazlett, and 
married Francis E. Burns on May 23, 1918. Mr. Burns died in March 1968. 
Surviving are a son, Wilbur G. of Altoona; ten grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren and a brother, Maetoner of Lock Haven. Mrs. Burns was a member 
of the Trinity United Church of Christ, and the Sunday School class of the 
church. Friends will be received in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home from 7 
to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
