Burns and a former resident of Altoona, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Anna Frazier of Wilkinsburg, at 2.34 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was born in Centre county, Oct. 26, 1852, and had resided in Altoona for a number of years, being a member of the Second Avenue United Brethren church for a period of twenty-five years. Surviving are one daughter and one son, Mrs. Frazier of Wilkinsburg and Walter S. Burns of the U.S. naval hospital at Baltimore, Md., three grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. Catherine Trout, Mrs. Ada Saulsburg, Mrs. Harry Bowers, Mrs. Fanny Shultzberger and Mrs. Ida Marshall, all of this city. In addition to her local church affiliation, she was a member of the Rainbow class of the church Sunday school, of Mountain City temple, No. 42, Pythian Sisters, Eleanor lodge, No. 21, Daughters of Rebekah, and Mountain City temple, No. 5, Ladies of the Golden Eagle. The remains will be brought here to the home of B. G. Flagenhop of 208 East Fifth avenue tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock at the Second United Brethren church and will be in charge of the pastor, Rev. E.G. Sawyer. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
