PAUL E. BURNS

Of 512 Seventh avenue, died at 12.01 o'clock this morning in the 
Altoona hospital where he had been a patient since Wednesday. He was 
born in Altoona June 30, 1918, a son of Francis and Leotta (Haslett) 
Burns, and was employed as a baker by the A&P Tea company. Surviving 
are his wife, Mrs. Alma (Smithmyer) Burns, his parents, of the city, 
one sister and one brother, Mrs. J .R. McNerlin of the city and Wilbur 
G., in the navy at Washington, D.C. Mr. Burns was a member of the 
Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church and of the Eagles. Friends will 
be received at the Gilden-Barton funeral home after 7 o'clock tomorrow 
evening.
