Morrisons Cove Herald, 16 Apr 1896 Contributor's Note: This woefully inadequate obituary told me next to nothing about my g.g.g. grandmother, Rachael Catherine Colbert, wife of Samuel Burns. She was actually survived by the same six children that were mentioned in her husband Samuel Burns' obituary in 1909. Perhaps the Altoona Mirror also carried an obituary for her. If any interested person could check that newspaper microfilm, I would be most grateful. I recently learned from a surviving daughter of Mrs. David Lynn that her father's true name was Myles Lloyd Lynn. To prevent future confusion, I thought it best to include this information here. Apparently, the obituary typesetter made an error and used "David" instead. Also, the names in brackets are my own additions. Samuel's three sons' full names were Robert Scott, Harrison Monroe, and Ulysses Grant Burns.
