SAMUEL BURNS 

Died at his home at Roaring Spring last night, of a complication of 
diseases, aged 69 years. He is survived by six children - Scott and 
Harry of Bellwood, Grant of Roaring Spring, Mrs. David [Rheuanna] 
Albright and Mrs. Miles [Nancy Ellen] Helsel of Roaring Spring and Mrs. 
David [Melcene Veldee] Lynn of Johnstown. He was a member of the 
Methodist church and a veteran of the civil war. The funeral will be 
held tomorrow at 1 o'clock, from his late home. Interment in Green Lawn 
cemetery, Roaring Spring.

SAMUEL BURNS.

A complication of diseases caused the death of Samuel Burns at his home 
at Roaring Spring, Blair County, Wednesday evening, aged sixty-nine 
years. The deceased is survived by six children, as follows: Scott and 
Harry, of Bellwood; Grant, of Roaring Spring; Mrs. David Albright and 
Mrs. Miles Helsel, of Roaring Spring, and Mrs. David [Miles Lloyd - 
ed.] Lynn, of Johnstown. He was a veteran of the Civil War. The funeral 
was held this afternoon, with interment in the Roaring Spring Cemetery.
