BURRIS Funeral service over the remains of the late William M. Burris, who died early yesterday morning in the Altoona hospital as the result of injuries sustained by being struck by an engine at Red Bridge, on Thursday evening, will be held in his late home at 921 Second avenue, Juniata, on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The service will be conducted by the Rev. J. K. Knisely, pastor of the Fifteenth street Methodist Episcopal church, and will be followed by interment in Rose Hill cemetery. William Marshall Burris was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Burris, both deceased and was born at Millerstown on January 7, 1879. He is survived by his widow and six children, from 1 1/2 to 15 years of age - Elsie, Minerva, Pauline, Russell, Lillian, and Margaret, all at home. Also by his stepmother, Mrs. Louisa Burris of Atlantic City, and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Lauver, of Brookville, O., and Miss Sadie Burris, of Atlantic City. The deceased was a member of the Fifteenth street Methodist Episcopal church, the Order of Independent Americans, the West Bound Floral association and the P.R.R. relief. He was a quiet and respected citizen and a good husband and father. His greatest pleasure was in his family and home and at the moment of his awful accident he was disregarding the rules of safety in his haste to join the family circle that has been broken by his death.
