JULIA BUSH An aged and highly esteemed resident of Hollidaysburg, died at her home, 604 Blair street, the dead body being found in her bed Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Death was attributed to diseases incident to advanced age. Mrs. Bush had been an invalid for the past nine years, not being able to leave her home, where she lived alone for several years past, but was cared for by relatives and neighbors. Mrs. Frank Hart had been to see her shortly after 2 o'clock, and returning at 2:30 found her dead. She had conversed freely during the earlier part of the day and was in good spirits. Mrs. Bush was born at Hollidaysburg on Feb. 27, 1843, her maiden name being Julia Brady. She was the widow of Henry Bush, who preceded her to the grave a number of years ago. All her lifetime was spent in Hollidaysburg and she was held in the highest esteem by a wide circle of friends. She was a member of the Baptist church of Hollidaysburg. The only survivors are a son William, of Pittsburgh and two grand-children. The funeral services will be held at McFarland's funeral parlors on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. Her next older sister Mary Ann, b. 1841 at sea, enroute to America, was married to William Finley Thompson, b. 1835 in Pennsylvania. Her oldest sister Catherine, b. abt. 1830, probably in England, was married to Hugh Smith, b. 1819 in Ireland. Terence was naturalized in 1844 and died 2 Oct 1854
