Sudden Death of a Former Resident of This Place. Mrs. Letitia Jane Bush, wife of Oliver P. Bush, and a former resident of Tyrone, died suddenly at her home in Altoona at an early hour Sunday morning. Her body, cold in death, was found in her bed when the family arose. Neuralgia of the heart was the cause of her demise. Mrs. Bush was a daughter of William H. and Margaret Orr, both deceased, and was born in Sinking Valley March 7, 1848. She grew to womanhood in that valley. Just a month ago, on September 14 last, Mr. and Mrs. Bush celebrated the forty fifth anniversary of their marriage which took place in 1871. Most of their life together has been spent in Altoona, though for several years they were residents of Tyrone, Mr. Bush being then foreman at the repair shops of the Tyrone division, P. R. R. She is survived by her husband, and three children: Mrs. J. C. Prough, Roberta and Edward C., all of Altoona. She is also survived by a half-brother, Washington Orr, of Nebraska and the following brothers and sisters: Samuel K., James C., and U. Grant, of Altoona, and Miss Permilla, of Sinking Valley. She was a member of Second Presbyterian church. Funeral services were conducted at the late home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock; interment in Fairview cemetery.
