BUTLER Died at his home in McKee at 9:40 o'clock last evening of cancer of the stomach. He was born in Hollidaysburg on Jan. 15, 1859 and was aged 55 years 3 months and 8 days. He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Cora Green, daughter of Abram and the following children: Mrs. Sadie Delozier, Mrs. Frank Lingenfelter, Harry Butler, all of McKee; David jr., Roaring spring; and Mrs. Bertha Osterlie, Martinsburg; also two sisters, Mrs. Annie Powell, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Dora Snyder, Hollidaysburg, and one brother, William, Roaring Spring. He was a consistent member of the Methodist Church at McKee and of the Model Lodge of Odd Fellows of Roaring Spring. For the past twenty - three years he had been employed in the Fourth Street Blacksmith Shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. The funeral services will be conducted in the Methodist Church at McKee on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock followed by interment in Roaring Spring. Altoona Mirror, April 24, 1914
