VERNA A. BUTLER

Of 426 Locust St., Roaring Spring, died at 10:50 p.m. yesterday in 
Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after an extended illness. She was born 
in Roaring Spring April 7, 1887, a daughter of Albert and Rebecca 
(Ginter) Albright, and married David R. Butler, who died in November 
1933. Surviving are two children, Mrs. Evelyn Spargo of Hopewell and 
Donald R. of Sharon; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. 
Butler was a charter member of the Roaring Spring Church of the 
Brethren and member of the Friendship Fire Company Auxiliary. Friends 
will be received in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, after 10 
a.m. tomorrow.
